Starlight mints
I used to be addicted to Altoids, sometimes stuffing four or five in my mouth at a time. Well, this habit can become quite expensive, so I've take to chewing on starlight mints from the local Dollar Tree. I get highly disappointed when I get a mint that isn't minty enough. I want that surge of flavor that I'm craving, and only Coastal Bay mints give me this pleasure.
I like the word "pleasure," because without meaning to, the term is inherantly sexual in nature.
I read a book by a lady that was raised in church and has since withdrawn herself. Her name is Kim Barnes, and the book is called "Into the Wilderness" I believe. It chronicles her struggle with tobacco and alcohol, and her struggle with her parents, herself, her church and God. Great book too! I often wondered how I could address God in my own writing in such a way that it didn't sound hick. I think I have found something to look into.
