Quincy Natives' torture makes CNN
A woman from Quincy, Illinois, my hometown, was tortured to death by a 35 yearoldwoman and another 40 something woma and four children in varying ages. What is disgusting is that people knew this woman was an angry woman. The dead woman, Dorothy Dixon, was mentally retarded and was supposed to be getting SSI checks. She made This Riley woman her payee, and was forced to rub her feet, basically do her bidding. This Dorothy had a child and was pregnant with another child. I saw her story on CNN. I knew this had happened, but it is such a heinous crime that CNN has a story online about it.
I can't believe another human is capeable of treating someone that way. I wonder what sort of anger leads to this type of behavior. I wonder what sort of blindness to the needs of another human being can lead us to treat someone like an animal, or worse. Look at the way wheneverwe are in some sort of "war" situation the firt thing we do is label the other side as some sort of "nigger". Forgivemy useof the wordhere, because I don't approve of the useof the word. I'm tired of the word,quitefrankly. Any time someone new is introduced to the mixof american society, they get this label. It was the Irish in the 1800's. The Germans were seen as evil in the 40's. So now we are in "war" with people of Arabic descent, and we call them "sandniggers" or "towelheads".
