Mom rode me on the back of her Harleythis evening. The weather was truly great for our little trip. I'm not used to speading my legs like that though, so I'm a little saddle sore now, but the ride wasn't too bad. She isn't a bad driver. I was a bit concerned, because she rode another of her friends on the back and ended up in the ditch. I didn't want to experience the same thing. We did fine. It will take some getting used to for me to be able to ride long distances. That's fine. I did enjoy myself. Mom has wifi ere, so that'sbeen pretty cool too! I tried to download the iunes store and make a purchase with the gift vertificate she bought me for my birthday, but it backfired on me and I used my checking account instead. Not too thrilled with that. I bought a U2 album though, Live from Paris, from 1987. Pretty cool, gotta love the sons of Ireland! Peaceout!

And we're having fun. Had some Cuban black beans that were to die for, unfortunately it smelled like something died later on! Whew!

It's good when there is no news to report, at least not in my own backyard! There is alwayssomething going on in my neighborhood, and it is usually criminal. I'm going to the thrift store today I suppose...possibly. It's pretty late to be getting out and about. I didn't wake up until about 1145 this morning, but I went to bed around five thirty. I don't party, but I work the third shift, so I'm awake all night on thee weekends. Looking forward to getting an opportunity to be somewhat normal AND able to pay the bills.

I'm looking forward to the end ofsummer this year...also looking forward to getting away from it all fora bit and heading to the big state of Texas to spend some more quality time with my mom. We have both been looking forward to this trip. I still can't believe I'm doing it. Looking into going to Grad school as well. We'll see how that attempt goes. I gave up home interent access for a time, until I get back from TX, then I'm getting a year's worth of DSL. It will be wonderful to have that in the home again. I have decided to permanently relocate to Macomb and do the grad school thing. God never gives me a good head's up on what he wants, only the small steps. I know I'll be seeing it when I get it well behind me....what with that 20/20 hindsight!
