Summer's almost over...three weeks til Texas!

I'm looking forward to the end ofsummer this year...also looking forward to getting away from it all fora bit and heading to the big state of Texas to spend some more quality time with my mom. We have both been looking forward to this trip. I still can't believe I'm doing it. Looking into going to Grad school as well. We'll see how that attempt goes. I gave up home interent access for a time, until I get back from TX, then I'm getting a year's worth of DSL.  It will be wonderful to have that in the home again. I have decided to permanently relocate to Macomb and do the grad school thing. God never gives me a good head's up on what he wants, only the small steps. I know I'll be seeing it when I get it well behind me....what with that 20/20 hindsight!

I'm sitting in McDonald's wondering how people can live on this food on a daily basis. I'm also realizing that for a buck...thos double cheeseburgers don't make too bad of a meal. Long as that's all you eat...if you aren't into coooking at home. I have triedto eat nothing but veggies, but now realize thatI need the meat in my body, keeps me from being sick to my stomach. Have tried nothing but veggies and was horribly uncomfortable. In writing news...this is the only writing Ive done all summer. So much for that!

  3. I remember the fire ants quite unfondly, especially near the lake shores while trying to fish! sheesh!!! I'd leave there scratching my ankles for weeks afterward! I'll be in McAllen TX. Nice town, and after the recent little cold snap, it'sll be nice and warm. I leave for TX in a little over a week! I'm looking forward to this trip very much! Thanks for sticking with me over the hiatus! Got registered for classes too! Did a lot of tying up loose ends, still plenty of that left.
