Heading to Quincy

One last shot down that direction before my vacation. I can't wait to get on that train headed to Chicago...whoohoo!!!

There was a couple headed around Carthage that was killed when they were hit by a semi truck...don't know who it was, but it's always nerve racking when something like that happens. One never knows who they know...

I decided to take only the change I find in my pocket down to quincy today, as I reallycan't be spending the money on anything other than my trip to Texas. Luckily I found about five bucks in change, so it won't be too bad, but sitting in McDonald's having coffee took a buck. I'm doing better than I had previously thought! I've got a load of laundry soaking in the tub, waiting for my attention, and the cat decided to hurl on my carpet, so that's waiting for my ttention as well. Trying to decide whether to turn the fridge off now, or wait until next week....might do it now, since I need to defrost the thing anyway. Well, I'm getting cold sitting here, and nothing is getting done at home. Love you all!
